Excellent! My kitty has stress related cystitis . I put 7 drops of this supplement in his meals to reduce inflammation of his bladder lining and it really helps with his litter box issues. I keep him on it for about 3 months when he is in a flare up as it takes a very long time to reduce bladder inflammation. I highly recommend this product
Been using this on advice by people with cats who are in similar situation - cystitis due to stress. My one year old cat had test and scans that came back normal, tested negative for bacteria and we were unable to calm his irritated bladder(pain and blood during urination). Now, his condition seem to have improved. Had flare up each time he stop medicine, but have been doing well without medicine for a month now having d-mannose and corn silk extract. On the other hand, it has a savoury smell - not sure if this is as expected? The extract also "solidify" at the bottom of the bottle(which I only realised after weeks of using it) - I had to add water to liquify it. But my cat seem to love having this in his wet food(purr each time he smells this!)
Corn silk has totally stopped my 16 year old dogs incontinence... I was giving her capsules 3 times a day... but sometimes she finds them hidden in her food, and i hate to shove them down her throat... so I tried this and put drops on her treats and she eats them right up... I'm a bit confused about the package though. I says 2,000mg per serving on the front, and the Amount per serving : on the "Supplement Facts" says 600mg per serving so...(I give her about half that).. you will need to see what amount works best for your pooch (vs person dosage)... Nothing wrong with the quality as far as i can tell...
The batch I received had a funky odor but I contacted iHerb and was assured that it had passed all of the required tests. The rep I spoke with, Cheryl, also went out of her way to send me a complimentary bottle. Even though the batch numbers were the same, the second bottle had a less pungent smell. I haven't had it long enough to know if it's helping my kitty but it was highly recommended to reduce urinary tract inflammation. Time will tell!
