I use this Calendula extract in my diy beauty products and also in my bath bombs and soaks. It is very soothing for inflammed or sun burnt skin. It is a thick oil and can also be applied directly to the skin although it is brown so really needs to be blended with another cream/balm/lotion so that it doesn't leave a brown mark on your face.
I am a big fan of Nature's Answer extracts. I like that they have glycerin and low-alcohol extracts. Thee mg is also very high. Its about twice the amount as other brands so you get a lot for the money. These extracts tend to be dark and thick, unlike the alcohol extracts. These can be used on the skin as well.
Calendula is so soothing it's great to always have some on hand. Since this particular formulation is in glycerin and not alcohol, I also add this to my DIY face masks and mouthwashes. I even just add a few drops straight to my lotions/creams if I have any skin irritations or insect bites.

I add little chia seed with cornflakes or raw oats and soak with milk. They don't have any special taste but can make you feel full.
