I am extremely acid sensitive and have gotten severe burns in my esophagus from eating foods with certain acids such as citrus, which I am also very allergic to. Years ago, someone told me to get DGL, I did and it really worked for me! I have used it ever since. Thankfully, I keep this condition controlled via my diet but recently had a major flare up of esophagitus following a family BBQ. I have a hard time with my troubled stomach this one has a good quality and the ingredients are good the age of this product will last until 2025 I don't know if this has hemp but it's all vegan supplements it taste so sweet and it has good benefits for stomachs and it's packaged well I am seeing some improvement my stomach is more relieved it's good to add to you're diet there's no concern on how to composition this product. tbh many people buy the liquid one to use it for skin whitening instead of drinking it this is more good for the stomach problems so if you get both of them you are a winner in all ways will get more soon and I will update it's good for the stomach try getting it everyday as possible good for troubled stomach

I suffered from heartburn after eating, and now that I take this 1 hour before eating, I feel a whole better. I have tried zinc carnosine, mastic gum, l glutamine, and this - dgl licorise and digestive enzymes. The best for me was DGL. My biggest symptoms are indigestion, LPR, and heartburn, mainly after eating. Of all the supplements, DGL licorice has helped me the most - considerably. It has taken away my heartburn and stomach pain. It works even 1 hour before eating. The taste is very yummy. When my mom coughs after eating spicy food ,I give her a tablet ( diabetic friendly too!). Her cough improves! There is no sugar in the ingredients.
DGL can help soothe the gastrointestinal pathways, which in my case where irritated by a nasty h.pylori infection. I would take these 20 mins before any meal to help support the digestion process and any effects the h.pylori were having on my gut lining. They really help soothe and improve that awful heartburn feeling. The flavor is subtly sweet with hint of licorice and anise. Highly recommend if you’re suffering from h.pylori or gastritis.

We don't have the best diet but this is a quality supplement in a single ingredient which has helped in the improvement of my family's health. I think this is a good quality product which seem to have helped me get off the PPIs. Tablets are chewable, but not like a gum, they melt and it takes 10 seconds to chew them completely. Taste is not the best, but also not bad either. I take two to three tablets per day, about 20 minutes before meal as directed and my symptoms improved a lot. I am not completely sure if it's only because of DGL, since I also use Aloe Vera gels, but maybe both played a role.
