Frontier Co-op’s products are always of good quality, I am a fan of all their products. This product has a single ingredient- inactive yeast, considered to be a superfood. For people on an AIP diet, or paleo, or just those wanting to add variety to their dishes - great choice. Packaging is basic (a bag), but holds the yeast securely, giving no chance foe contamination or smth like that. And I like Frontier’s labels, as I usually cut them out and stick to a container with the corresponding product. Scent: smells of cheese!))) Taste: taste is similar to cheese as well Format: I chose this in flakes over finely milled, as it reminds me more of parmigiano cheese flakes, plus it was cheaper!

This is my second 16-ounce Frontier Nutritional Yeast purchase because the quality, ingredient and packaging are excellent. I have a plant-based diet lifestyle at this age of life and although taste matters, foods that support health and provide antioxidant support are more important. The benefits of a high functioning immune system cannot be underestimated! Frontier brand is a flakier mix, and not clumped together like some brands I've tried in the past, which improves the texture and taste of many recipes. Nutritional is indeed a superfood because of the low sodium, zero sugars, high fiber, and multi-mineral content.

Great quality yeast flakes! It tastes really good for my liking, better then other companies i've tried. the package is quite big, with price that fits the price market in isreal. It has many great nutrition values that are good for your health. I put it in vegan dishes as a cheese substitute.
Yum! I am dairy free and love using this ingredient on everything. Does it taste like cheese? No. But is is delicious, savory and adds just something great to basically everything? Yes. Good quality too, as I do not want fortified foods, particularly folic acid. Unfortunately most nutritional yeast in the grocery store is fortified and it’s bad for people with certain health conditions.
Thanks to Dr Berg I decided to try nutritional yeast flakes for its health benefits. I found this big package on iHerb to buy. Wow it tastes delicious and I am sorry I didn’t try it years ago. My son loves this and puts it on his dinner every night, while I prefer eating it by itself. Did I mention it’s delicious? 😆 Great quality ingredients and I will continue to purchase.
