2% salicylic acid(BHA). Has fragrance but thats ok for me bcuz it is a wash. This is good for acne prone skin, blackheads/whiteheads. How to use this is lather this n leave it for few mins, then wash it off. This helps for reducing acne and cleansing pores. Prevents new one from forming

Got this to compare to the original formula to see if it helps reduce acne bacteria in addition to promoting cell turnover. Update: This seems to work better for my teen than the original orange colored formula. However, I am not sure if it is the formula itself or if he prefers something about it therefore uses it more consistently. Bottom line it is effective and pleasant to use.

I have acne since a long time and my skin is very oily, rarely that I find a cleancer that washes my face and leaves it dry in a comfortable way as I live in a pretty humid area, this one does that and the salicylic acid does a good jop making my skin less inflammed

I wish Neutrogena would come up with a fragrance-free version of this. I use this mainly as body wash to control my bacne. Once a week as shampoo to control itchiness and oily scalp and mild dandruff. It foams nicely, cleanse well, rinses off well and non-drying. This is different compared to Neutrogena products that I had used 10 years ago that dried up my skin.
