None of the immune-weakening side-effects of the acyclovir pharmaceutical family (Zovirax et al), and faster suppression of viral outbreaks. If I catch something coming up quickly enough, 2 caps/day of this over 2 days knocks it completely back. (If you're curious, Lysine acts to block viral replication.) Been a true godsend.

I tried this lysine to use for immunity support. I have been under tremendous stress this year & I have had cold sores three times. The product I used previously did not really seem to work at all. I like keeping the smaller sized bottles with me in case I'm out and I eat a high L-Arginine food. I usually keep the powder version at home for quicker absortion, but these work great too!
I always restock this supplement. I have been using it for viral diseases for several years. Of course, with viruses, I combine it with monolaurin, zinc, vitamin D. For the first 3 days of a viral illness, I take 1 capsule three times a day. It works well in tandem with monolaurin against the herpes virus, but you need to start drinking from the first day. Herpes always appears unexpectedly, either after hypothermia or after severe stress, so there is no time to wait a few days until the order arrives, you must always have it at home.
